Deep London Blue Topaz, vivid apatite, chrysoprase and emerald make a beautiful setting for the smallest Camila in the collection. Each stone is faceted, so the colour shifts gently as the necklace moves, while the fine gold flower brings a quiet point of focus to the centre.

Making Camila this small was a lovely challenge. I wanted to keep the character of the original flower, right down to the individually constructed petals and the tiny granules at its heart. The result is a much finer Camila, but one that still reveals all the filigree work when seen up close.

Matching Petite earrings or a ring can be made on request. I can also imagine this little Camila becoming a first special jewel for a girl who has grown up admiring her mother’s or grandmother’s jewellery. Her own little Camila, worn alongside Mum’s or Grandma’s.

From First Idea to Final Detail

At Diosa del Alma, the person who imagines the jewel is also the person who makes it. Elizabeth designs and creates each piece herself, from the first idea to the moment it leaves her atelier.

This gives her the freedom to let a design evolve as she works. Proportions may shift or an unexpected detail may take the jewel in a new direction. Elizabeth enjoys leaving room for those moments rather than deciding everything in advance.

That same way of working makes personalisation a natural part of the atelier. Elizabeth can respond to individual wishes herself and shape a jewel with the person who will wear it in mind.

Elizabeth

Becoming a goldsmith was never part of the life she had imagined for herself. Until then, her career had been in the world of fashion and luxury. She had also built her own business, before serious illness unexpectedly changed the course of her life.

Several years later, during her recovery, she began learning to make jewellery. It was initially intended to support her rehabilitation, but she quickly became absorbed by the craft itself. She went on to train further as a goldsmith, discovering a direction she could never have imagined before her illness.
