Margarita Petite began with the centre of the original Margarita flower. Rather than recreating the entire design on a smaller scale, the heart of Margarita became a jewel in its own right. The rounded petals are worked in fine filigree and built in alto relieve, giving the flower a gentle sculptural depth. A faceted amethyst sits at its centre, its deep violet beautifully framed by the warmth of the gold.

There is something particularly lovely about Margarita at this scale. It belongs to the Petite line, where familiar designs return in a smaller form while keeping the same attention to the filigree itself. The silk cord brings softness and colour to the wrist. Each one is hand dyed and hand rolled by an artisan, and almost any shade can be created. The gemstone can be chosen as well, allowing silk and stone to be brought together in a combination that feels completely personal.

A second faceted gemstone finishes the adjustable extension chain. It is a small detail, seen only as the bracelet moves around the wrist, bringing the colour from the centre of Margarita back once more.

From First Idea to Final Detail

At Diosa del Alma, the person who imagines the jewel is also the person who makes it. Elizabeth designs and creates each piece herself, from the first idea to the moment it leaves her atelier.

This gives her the freedom to let a design evolve as she works. Proportions may shift or an unexpected detail may take the jewel in a new direction. Elizabeth enjoys leaving room for those moments rather than deciding everything in advance.

That same way of working makes personalisation a natural part of the atelier. Elizabeth can respond to individual wishes herself and shape a jewel with the person who will wear it in mind.

Elizabeth

Becoming a goldsmith was never part of the life she had imagined for herself. Until then, her career had been in the world of fashion and luxury. She had also built her own business, before serious illness unexpectedly changed the course of her life.

Several years later, during her recovery, she began learning to make jewellery. It was initially intended to support her rehabilitation, but she quickly became absorbed by the craft itself. She went on to train further as a goldsmith, discovering a direction she could never have imagined before her illness.
